This 1931 Chrysler CG Imperial Custom Convertible Victoria by Waterhouse was produced on June 15, 1931, and remained in the Collins family for 70 years after being saved from WWII scrap drives. Its engine was donated to the war effort, but young Scott Collins preserved the car and collected original parts over the years. In 2009, renowned Canadian restorer Richard Grenon acquired it and began a meticulous restoration. Despite weather exposure, the chassis and aluminum body remained remarkably intact. Waterhouse, a short-lived but prestigious coachbuilder, crafted only about 296 bodies—fewer than six are believed to exist on a CG Imperial chassis today.
