This 1927 Hispano-Suiza H6B Coupe Chauffeur, bodied by D’Ieteren Frères, was sold new to Lolita Mitchell of Chicago from the marque’s Paris showroom. Powered by a 6.5L overhead-camshaft six-cylinder engine producing 135 hp, the H6B offered a top speed of 85 mph and advanced features like servo-assisted brakes. Known for its luxury, performance, and craftsmanship, the H6B was among the most expensive and elite cars of its time. Hispano-Suiza, also famed for aircraft engines, built these chassis in Paris and delivered them to top coachbuilders for bespoke bodies. Production of the H6B ended in 1932.
